2nd body discovered near vehicle stranded after flood in Sacramento County, CHP says

A second body was discovered Wednesday near a vehicle that was being towed away from the floodwaters that stranded dozens during the New Year’s Eve storm, according to the California Highway Patrol.
据加州高速公路巡逻队称，在新年前夜的暴风雨中，突发的洪水导致数十人被困。周三在搁浅的车辆附近发现了第二具尸体。
Officials said the body of the woman was discovered in a field around 10 a.m. She was found outside of a vehicle near Dillard road east of Highway 99, officials said.

CHP strongly suspects she was associated with a stranded car.

On Sunday, authorities had discovered a man inside a submerged vehicle who also died in that same area.

Flooding on that part of Highway 99 had led to several vehicles being stuck on the roadway. Dozens of people were rescued over the weekend.
