Rocklin学区公布重新开放计划！
Many parents in the Rocklin Unified School District believe their children should be going back into their classrooms next week — that was the original plan. But in-person learning was pushed back, and the school year will begin with distance learning.

Before the school district board of trustees meeting Wednesday night, parents rallied at the district office, saying their students are not able to learn enough through a computer.

Rocklin school leaders said they had to delay reopening schools because of testing requirements.

During the board meeting, the school district unveiled a five-step plan to get students back in the classroom.

Stage 1 is distance learning.

Stage 2, which is coming soon, officials said, will allow a few hundred students to return to campus on Sept. 14. Student from TK and special education programs will be in classroom in small groups.

Stage 3 is a hybrid model where students are at school about half the time and learning from home during the other half. This stage is still a few weeks away. The board will decide when to move to this model on Sept. 29.

Stages 4 and 5 will have students back in school fulltime – first with restriction and then back to normal.
