(SACBEE)Placer County sheriff’s deputies arrested a teenage driver wanted on a warrant and a parolee from the Sacramento area after a loaded gun, oxycodone pills and marijuana were found during a traffic stop last week in Roseville, officials said.

The traffic stop occurred about 9:40 p.m. Sept. 4, the Placer County Sheriff’s Office announced on its Facebook page Thursday. Sheriff’s officials said the vehicle was pulled over for a traffic violation.

The 17-year-old driver from Sacramento County had a felony arrest warrant on domestic violence charge. The passenger, Laderall Davis, 31, of Sacramento, was on post-release community supervision for drug possession conviction, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies searched the vehicle and found a loaded Glock 22 handgun under the driver’s seat, sheriff’s officials said. The deputies also found a prescription bottle with 100 oxycodone pills and a prescription bottle of codeine. The prescription information on the bottles had been removed.

The deputies found a large amount of cash inside the teenager’s pockets, but sheriff’s officials didn’t indicate how much money was found. The deputies also found 13 bottles of unopened soda, which is often mixed with codeine, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Both suspects were arrested on suspicion of possessing drugs for sale and marijuana for sale or transportation.

The teenager faces additional charges of being a minor in possession of a gun and ammunition, along with the domestic violence arrest warrant, according to the Sheriff’s Office. Davis faces additional charges of being a felon in possession of a gun and ammunition.
