(KCRA3)A wanted man was shot and killed by officers Tuesday night in the south Natomas area, Sacramento police said.
萨克拉门托警方称，一名通缉犯于周二晚间在南纳托马斯地区被警方击毙。
The man, who was wanted in connection with the attempted homicide of an officer, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. His identity will be released after next of kin is notified.

The shooting happened in the 500 block of Wisconsin Avenue, near Northgate Boulevard, police said. Officers were following up on the attempted homicide investigation in the neighborhood and learned the man was inside of a home with other people.

SWAT and crisis negotiators were called to the scene and able to get the others out of the home safely.

Police said a Sacramento Police Department helicopter saw the man leave the home through the back. He was seen jumping over a fence with a firearm before the shooting.

It is unclear what led to the shooting. Police said no officers were injured.
