萨城9岁女孩被枪杀！21岁男子被捕！
A man was arrested in connection with the shooting death of 9-year-old Makaylah Brent, Sacramento police said Tuesday.
萨克拉门托警方周二表示，一名涉嫌枪杀9岁男童马卡亚拉·布伦特的男子已被逮捕。
Laise Burton Hands, 21, was arrested on murder charges in connection with the Oct. 3 drive-by shooting at Mama Marks Park in the Del Paso Heights neighborhood that killed Makaylah and injured 3 others, the Sacramento Police Department said.
据萨克拉门托警察局表示，现年21岁的莱斯·伯顿·汉兹因涉嫌10月3日在德尔帕索高地的Mama Marks公园驾车射杀马卡亚拉并致3人受伤而被逮捕。
Brent's family said they were having a gathering at the time of the shooting. Ashleigh Brent, 32, and Makaylah's 6-year-old cousin were among the three injured in the shooting.

Police said a man who has not been identified was also injured and went to the hospital for his own treatment.

It is unknown if Hands knew anybody at the gathering prior to the shooting.

Hands has been in police custody since Oct. 5 on firearms and police pursuit charges unrelated to the shooting.

Police said no other suspects were identified in relation to this shooting at this time but are asking the public's help for any information.

Makaylah's shooting death was one of several from that weekend that either killed or injured people in Sacramento.

City leaders denounced the shootings days later, calling for proposals to increase resources for community organizations, gang task force and youth programs.
