ELK GROVE, Calif. —
Sacramento County Sheriff's deputies have seized nearly 2,000 stolen catalytic converters and about $300,000 in cash during a search warrant, officials said Tuesday.
Deputies worked with the Elk Grove Police Department and served the warrant in a part of Elk Grove they believe were related to the theft and sales of catalytic converters, the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office said.

It is unclear when and where in the Elk Grove area the operation happened.
