At a time when businesses are struggling to survive during mandated closures and restrictions, every dollar spent locally helps. To encourage socially conscious consumer spending and aid Elk Grove's economic recovery, the City of Elk Grove has launched a campaign to answer the question, "Why Buy Local?"

"When you shop within our city limits, you're not just helping that business, you're keeping people employed and supporting local families," explained Elk Grove's Economic Development Director, Darrell Doan. "We took the opportunity to showcase members of our ElkGrove business community to remind residents that this effort isn't just about economics, but it's about supporting our neighbors."
