（KCRA）A woman who threatened to hurt her girlfriend prompted a lockdown Saturday of the area surrounding Thunder Valley casino in Placer County, the sheriff's office said.

The victim called the sheriff's office around 4:30 p.m. and reported being threatened with a gun. Deputies then found the suspect's car in the casino parking lot and worked with casino security to lock down access in and out of the casino as authorities searched for the suspect.

A Roseville police officer spotted her in the garage as she was heading toward a car that was not her own. She was then taken into custody, the sheriff's office said.

"We take every incident seriously. And especially when you have a casino with this many people that could be potential victims, you can never be too careful, you can never be too safe," said Shayne Wright with the sheriff's office.
