At least three Sacramento Kings players have tested positive for COVID-19, officials with the team said Wednesday.

Jabari Parker said he tested positive for the virus several days ago and is self-isolating in Chicago. He also said he is recovering and feeling well.

Buddy Hield also tested positive COVID-19, sources told KCRA 3.

Alex Len posted on Instagram that he tested positive for COVID-19 after under going testing on Tuesday. He said he immediately entered isolation.

Parker said he is expected to join his teammates in Orlando as the NBA season starts back up. He released the following statement Wednesday:

“Several days ago I tested positive for COVID-19 and immediately self-isolated in Chicago which is where I remain. I am progressing in my recovery and feeling well. I look forward to joining my teammates in Orlando as we return to the court for the resumption of the NBA season.”

Len said he looks forward to being cleared and rejoining teammates.

In early June, the NBA’s Board of Governors approved a 22-team format for restarting the league season in late July at the Disney campus near Orlando, Florida.
