Crews are battling a 1,200-acre fire in Solano County that ignited Saturday afternoon, according to Cal Fire.

The Quail Fire began around 4 p.m. off of Quail Canyon and Pleasants Valley roads, southwest of Winters, Cal Fire said.

The fire was 5% contained as of late Saturday evening. An easterly wind was spreading the flames.
